With Easter right around the corner, I wanted to share what I plan to put in an Easter Basket for my 9 month old! I could have easily over done it here, but I wanted to keep it really simple. I love Easter because it usually means the weather is warming up and we will get to play outside more! Hallelujah!
There’s really not much better than getting outside after a long, cold winter! It just feels so cleansing.
PS: The peeps are for the adults in the house – Mommy and Daddy.

Anywayyyy… I got Nolan’s Easter basket from Target. Actually, now that I think about it, almost everything I got is from Target. I thought this basket was adorable and would work for his entire childhood. I also had to pick up some Easter grass for the bottom of the basket, so I went with yellow to match the little bit of yellow in the basket.
The first thing I have here are a pair of sunglasses and protective case from The Children’s Place. The best thing? These are on sale for $2.47 right now! They have a bunch of different styles and are the perfect size. I decided on the Wayfarer Sunglasses because they have the plastic nose piece, even though I could have bought ALL of them! They were all so cute! I also picked up the Baseball Sunglasses Case so I could easily keep these in his diaper bag without worrying about them getting damaged.
The next thing I threw in there were these Divided Dinosaur Plates. Nolan is starting to eat more and more food, so I wanted to get him a couple of plates to keep some stuff separated. Guess what? These were also a steal, costing just $2.99 PLUS an additional 10% off right now. Score! The divided sections of these plates are actually pretty deep which is wonderful for us – especially when he is served things like yogurt or applesauce. They also have a rubber ring on the bottom to help keep them from sliding all over the table. I highly recommend these!
Then I wanted to throw in a little treat. I picked up the Ella’s Kitchen Smoothie Drink because they are made with simple ingredients and something new for him to try. Since Nolan is still breastfeeding and doing baby led weaning (you can find more info on that in this post), he hasn’t tried much in terms of beverages. I thought it would be nice and perfectly fine to give him these as a treat since there weren’t a thousand ingredients in them. It is made from water, apples, zucchini, and green beans. That’s it!
I also had to throw a toy in there! He has an endless amount of toys already, so I just went with something small. These Vtech Go! Go! Smart Wheels are fascinating. We have a Smart Wheels track and some of the cars already, so I just added a couple to his collection. They play songs and say different phrases when you push the windshield, but they also play different things when you drive them on the track. They are really neat and he enjoys them!
My husband and I are huge movie and TV lovers, so we decided to start Nolan’s movie collection with Minions! Any movie would make a cute addition to an Easter basket for kids of any age!
Finally, I decided to throw in a t-shirt and a pair of pajamas for baby bear. The only pajamas that fit him right now are the fleece ones we have, so I picked up these cotton ones from Carters. They are lightweight which will be perfect for the upcoming warm temperatures. The t-shirt is from Gymboree, but I wasn’t able to find the same one online. I did find another baseball shirt though that I think is adorable!

I truly hope you all are getting warmer weather if you live in states with four seasons! What are some things you’re putting in your baby’s first Easter basket, or what did you put in your baby’s first Easter basket if your kids are older? I can’t wait to hear!
See ya later! =)
